Window & Door Replacement
Our specialty. Old units out, new ones in, flashed and trimmed so the opening is tighter than the day the house was built.
Most of our calendar is windows and doors, and it shows in the finish work. We measure every opening individually, deal with whatever rot or framing problem is hiding behind the old unit, and set the new one properly so it opens the same way in February as it does in July.
The opening gets fixed, not covered
Pulling a 40-year-old window usually reveals something: soft sill, failed flashing, a header that has sagged. We repair what we find and tell you about it before we do, rather than trimming over it and moving on.
Flashed for New England weather
Sill pan, proper laps, and sealant where it belongs. Water gets directed out and away instead of sitting in the rough opening, which is what turns a good window into a callback three winters later.
Trim that looks original
Interior casing and exterior trim get matched to the rest of the house. On older homes that means reproducing the profile, not defaulting to whatever stock moulding is at the supply house.
